Hampton Court House (HCH) is a distinctive South-West London school set in a Grade II listed building beside Bushy Park, near Hampton Court Palace. Learning is immersive: students enjoy Forest School sessions in the park, create art in RHS Level 5 award-winning gardens, take language lessons outdoors, and perform music and drama in the theatre and historic main hall. This exceptional setting weaves nature, culture, and history into daily learning, while prioritising student wellbeing and autonomy. HCH delivers a rigorous yet holistic curriculum, combining academic excellence with experiential learning, artistic exploration, and language immersion.

A Finalist for London Independent School of the Year after two consecutive short listings, HCH also received the 2025 national award for Developing Student Voice. The school removes the typical pressures of London education, creating space for students to thrive. Its unique Sixth Form programme - combining academic excellence with evidence-based pillars of mental and physical health, leadership, cultural literacy, and community - won a national award for Innovation in Education in 2025.

Students consistently achieve exceptional academic results, with 61% A*/A at GCSE and 35% A*/A at A-Level in 2025. Destinations include Oxbridge, Russell Group, leading international universities and a 100% medical school acceptance rate.

HCH’s purposely informal ethos, with no uniforms, small class sizes, first-name teacher terms, and strong respect for student voice, cultivates deep relationships and a warm, supportive environment. Every child is treated as an individual, truly heard and encouraged to flourish. Trained student Mental Health Champions lead wellbeing initiatives, from walks with Leo the wellbeing dog to activities in the “Recharge Room.”

London acts as an extended classroom, with regular visits to Hampton Court Palace and cultural and academic outings across the city. Students also access world-class sporting facilities through partnerships with St Mary’s University, Xcel Sports Hub, and East Molesey Rowing Club.

This unique learning environment contributes to outstanding academic achievement and the personal growth of well-rounded young adults prepared for life.
